Youth in foster care face several challenges as they approach adulthood and begin to prepare for self-sufficiency and living on their own. While all youth may struggle to achieve self-reliance, youth in out-of-home care may face additional obstacles and benefit from additional support. The following resources provide information on how to support young people and help them transition to adulthood and live independently.
